Seasons of Japan and related Japanese words

Like  everywhere Japan also has four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. In Japan, one year is divided into four periods. Japan's weather brings it all. The beautiful cherry blossoms of spring. The breathtaking autumn leaves. The warm summer and The beautiful white winter. Each four seasons of Japan brings a new face to the country, each as beautiful as the next.

The Japanese culture is deeply related to these four seasons. In general, the four seasons of Japan offers number of festivals and events to experience that take place in different areas across the country.

Spring
はる (Haru)


Spring in Japan is from March to May. The cold weather becomes less serve and the air gradually becomes warmer. Spring is the beautiful and comfortable season. The biggest highlight of Spring in japan is the world famous cherry blossoms.Cherry blossom viewing events are held at many spots famous for their cherry blossoms. The cherry blossom hold a position of central significance in Japanese art, architecture, fashion and traditional culture.

Summer
なつ (Natsu)

Summer in Japan is From the end of June to the middle of July. Summer usually lasts from June to August with three or four week of rainy seasons. Summer is an amazing season in Japan where excessive heat does not resist visitors experiencing the exciting Summer festivals and events. Summer is the season of festivals. When it comes to summer events in Japan, Summer festivals and firework is popular. Fireworks shows are hold at beaches and river banks etc.

Autumn
あき (Aki)

After the end of the hot and humid Summer season, Autumn arrives in Japan. Autumn in Japan is usually between September and November. The heat gets  less serve and the temperature goes down, the air gets drier , but it is a comfortable season. Similar to cherry blossoms in spring, Autumn is full of Maple tree leaves, Ginko And other Deciduous trees with various colors like yellow, red, crimson green etc. They show their colorful foliage at different parks, gardens, mountains, temples etc.various cultural events are held during this season.

Winter
ふゆ (Fuyu)



In December, the temperature drops more and  you feel chilled and winter started in Japan. Japan's winter is very beautiful but also very dangerous.Snowfall occur almost everywhere except some areas. Winter in Japan lasts from December to February.The weather is very often sunny with blue sky.Winter is ideal season to witness snow in many winter sports and festivals. It is very common for temperature to drop below zero. Many streets are full of beautiful during Christmas and New years.

  Now a days watching Japanese dramas and anime is everyone's favorite thing. Watching Japanese dramas is very addicting. People usually watch Japanese dramas for fun and interest. But did you know that watching Japanese drama is a pretty good way to study Japanese language and culture. We can enjoy watching Japanese dramas while learning some Japanese language and culture. I personally experience that. We cannot learn Japanese language only by watching drama but studying is also important but Japanese dramas somehow help it to make interesting and easier. SOME TIPS TO LEARN JAPANESE FROM DRAMA. 1. Choose some useful and right dramas which shows Japanese culture, school, etc. 2. At first you can watch with subtitles then you should watch without subtitle you can repeat it. 3. You can also note down some important phrases. 4. You can practice repeating the dialogs.
